The safety of plants endangered by technological explosions (explosive atmosphere) is mainly based on the implementation of appropriate measures of explosion (Ex) protection.

The education and training of staff implementing Ex protection measures is one of the most important links in the chain of ensuring complete and effective Ex protection. Experience, unfortunately, shows that inadequate staff education and training in Ex protection is one of the most common causes of plant accidents.

Furthermore, in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulations on Minimum Safety Requirements and Workers Health Protection and Technical Supervision of Plants, Equipment, Installations and Apparatus in Hazardous Areas, the “Official gazette” No. 39/06 and 106/07, the employer must ensure that all workers and responsible persons are educated and trained in accordance with the requirements of this Regulations.

INEL – MONTAŽA, within its activities, offers specialist education/training/seminars in the field of explosion protection, which are in accordance with ISO/IEC/EN/HRN standards in the field of Ex protection.

Education is performed by Asst. prof. Ivica Gavranić, Ph. D. E. Eng., Tomislav Mlinac, dipl. ing. el., Darko Zlabnik, dipl. ing. mech. and Davor Binički, ing. el.
